Rider Info

All participants in the 2014 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 must register in advance at the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Show at ExCeL in east London between Thursday 7 August and Saturday 9 August. See the expo opening times here.

When you register you will receive your rider documents, including rider number, handlebar number (which has an ID tag on the back to time your ride) and kitbag. To find out more about registering for the event, see your Final Instructions magazine or click the downloadable pdf version below.

Start Time

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 will start in waves from 06:00 on Sunday 10 August 2014. Participants will be seeded, with their starting position indicative of ability and fitness, to deliver a safe and enjoyable event for all. All participants will need to be able to finish the 100 miles within eight and a half hours in order to finish safely in advance of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic finish and ride safely within a large group.

If you have a place in the 2014 event, you should have received an email containing the following rider info: Start Area Colour, Wave, Wave Loading Times and your actual Start Time. If you have not received this email, please call our helpdesk on 020 7902 0212 (Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00).

Please aim to arrive at your Start Area in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at least 60 minutes before you’re due to start the sportive.

Please note that due to the complexity of around 24,000 riders departing Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in a two-and-a-half-hour period, riders cannot change their start colour or start time. If two participants who are starting at different times wish to meet, they can meet on or beyond The Highway by pulling to one side of the road in a safe place and waiting for each other.

Routes from car parks and drop-off locations to the Start

On Ride Day you’ll be able to follow a signposted route from every official Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 car park and drop-off location to the Start of the sportive in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, but if you’d like to familiarise yourself with the route you’ll take in advance, we’ve put together a series of GPX files for you to download.
