All participants in the 2014 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 must register in advance at the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Show at ExCeL in east London between Thursday 7 August and Saturday 9 August. See the expo opening times here.
When you register you will receive your rider documents, including rider number, handlebar number (which has an ID tag on the back to time your ride) and kitbag. To find out more about registering for the event, see your Final Instructions magazine or click the downloadable pdf version below.
The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 will start in waves from 06:00 on Sunday 10 August 2014. Participants will be seeded, with their starting position indicative of ability and fitness, to deliver a safe and enjoyable event for all. All participants will need to be able to finish the 100 miles within eight and a half hours in order to finish safely in advance of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic finish and ride safely within a large group.
If you have a place in the 2014 event, you should have received an email containing the following rider info: Start Area Colour, Wave, Wave Loading Times and your actual Start Time. If you have not received this email, please call our helpdesk on 020 7902 0212 (Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00).
Please aim to arrive at your Start Area in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at least 60 minutes before you’re due to start the sportive.
Please note that due to the complexity of around 24,000 riders departing Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in a two-and-a-half-hour period, riders cannot change their start colour or start time. If two participants who are starting at different times wish to meet, they can meet on or beyond The Highway by pulling to one side of the road in a safe place and waiting for each other.
All participants are required to complete a Transport Options survey no later than Monday 28 July. If you are taking part in the sportive, you must let us know how you plan to travel to the Start in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park by this date. Click this link to see your Transport Options.
All participants will receive a Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 Final Instructions Magazine in the post in early July. Please ensure you read this carefully as it contains all the information you need to enjoy a trouble-free Ride Day on Sunday 10 August.
A downloadable pdf version of these Final Instructions is available here.
