Apply for Charity of the Year

The application system is now open for charities to apply to become Charity of the Year for Prudential RideLondon in 2021.

The Charity of the Year for the 2021 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive will receive:

  • 200 places for the 2021 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 at ballot cost
  • 100 places at ballot cost for 2022
  • 50 places at ballot cost for 2023
  • Free one-page advertisement and editorial in the accepted and rejected magazines (Please note that London Marathon Events Ltd is constantly reviewing its communication methods and moving to digital communications. If the magazines are no longer produced, the COTY will be offered alternative communication opportunities)
  • A dedicated page on the official event website
  • A minimum of three planning meetings with London Marathon Events Ltd to maximise the Charity of the Year opportunity and support the association of the charity, including organising cheering zones, hospitality hubs etc
  • Six VIP grandstand experiences for 2021

We appreciate the effort and time that goes into submitting an application and we therefore ask you to consider your charity’s ability to deliver what is required to maximise the opportunity of the COTY partnership.

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 Charity of the Year

In the past two years, we have also appointed a Charity of the Year for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 sportive. This is for those charities which may not have the reach or set-up to maximise the opportunity available for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 event.

In the application process, please outline if you would like your application to also be considered for the COTY for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46.

The Charity of the year for the 2021 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 will receive:

  • 75 places for the 2021 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 at ballot cost
  • 30 places at ballot cost for 2022
  • 15 places at ballot cost for 2023
  • A dedicated page on the official event website
  • A minimum of three planning meetings with London Marathon Events Ltd to maximise the Charity of the Year opportunity and support the association of the charity, including organising cheering zones, hospitality hubs etc
  • Three VIP grandstand experiences for 2021

All UK-registered charities are eligible to apply.
