Deferred Entry

Can't ride in 2018?

If you have got your place through the ballot and then you are ill, injured or unable to ride for any other reason, you may withdraw from the 2018 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 and apply for a guaranteed entry for the 2019 event, as long as you follow the procedures outlined below and meet the required deadlines. Please note that you may not withdraw more than once.

Firstly, you must have paid for your 2018 place (the deadline for this is 17:00 on Friday 23 February 2018). Once you have completed payment and confirmed your place for 2018, you may withdraw at any time using this link up to 20:00 on Saturday 28 July 2018.

Providing you met the deadlines above and have paid the 2018 entry fee, you will be offered a guaranteed place for the 2019 sportive, provided you pay the 2019 entry fee. This means it is not necessary to go through the ballot process again.

Please note the following terms and conditions apply:

  • You are required to pay the full entry fee for the 2018 and 2019 events and entry fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
  • It is only possible to withdraw and apply for a guaranteed place once. If you withdrew from the  2017 event, it is not possible for you to withdraw again in 2018.
  • You may only withdraw and apply for a guaranteed entry for 2019 if you got your place through the ballot. This system does not apply for any other entry route. For example, if you have been allocated a place by a charity and are not able to ride, the place returns to the charity.

The withdrawal process operated for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100  is the same process that operates for the London Marathon.
