Continental Tyres Sprints Competition

The Continental Tyres Sprints competition at the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic will provide a competition within the main race for the 150 pro male riders taking part in the event. The Sprints competition involves a series of sprints within the race. Points are awarded to the first four cyclists who make it over the sprint line each time they pass it.

A sign 1km before the sprint line indicates to the riders that the sprint line is coming up. A line on the road and a gantry will indicate the sprint line.

There are five opportunities to obtain points in the Continental Tyres Sprints competition. One on Sawyers Hill, three on Dorking High Street and one in Wimbledon Village.

The Continental Tyres Sprint title will be awarded to the cyclist who has received the most points after all five sprints.
