Cancellation of 2020 Prudential RideLondon
It has been confirmed that the 2020 Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling is cancelled. This decision has been taken by London authorities after engagement with partners involved in the planning of the event.
The eighth edition of the world’s greatest festival of cycling was scheduled to take place on the weekend of 15 and 16 August.
Please note: due to the cancellation of the 2020 event, the below information is subject to change.
About Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle
Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle offers a brilliant opportunity to get the whole family together to experience the fun and freedom of cycling on traffic-free roads in central London.
The seven-mile FreeCycle circuit passes iconic London landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Bank of England, with stunning views of London to be found everywhere you look.
Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle features six Festival Zones in iconic London locations including St Paul's Churchyard and Green Park.
A wide range of bike-based entertainment and activities will take place at each site during the day.
We want as many people as possible to enjoy Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle so we’ve put together a series of Led Rides with the London Cycling Campaign to deliver you to the heart of the action in central London.
Each ride will be led by experienced cyclists who will ride at a relaxed pace that’s perfect for beginners. There are Led Rides from every London borough to the Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle route before the event, and back to each borough after the event.
