Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle features seven Festival Zones in iconic London locations:

  • Green Park
  • Lincoln's Inn Fields
  • Southbank
  • Aldwych
  • St Paul's Churchyard
  • Guildhall
  • Leadenhall Market

What’s happening where?

A wide range of bike-based entertainment and activities will take place at each site during the day:

Green Park
  • Top stunt rider Andrei Burton and his team will tackle a series of breathtaking challenges
  • A 200m mountain bike course for beginners and advanced riders
  • Go Ride racing with coaches from British Cycling
  • Bikeworks – showcasing all-inclusive cycling and adapted cycles on a unique cycling track
  • Big screen with all-day entertainment
  • Transport for London’s stand walking and cycling roadshow offers information on FreeCycle Skills sessions, walking and cycle routes
  • Exchanging Places – sit in the driver’s seat of an HGV or bus to get a better understanding of what the driver can and can’t see
  • Kids’ Zone – indoor cycle-themed arts and crafts including customising your tabard, outdoor kids games, bling your bike and entertainers
  • Outdoor games including giant Jenga, Connect Four, table football and lots more
  • Activity areas presented by Prudential, Skoda, Continental, Evans and Amstel
  • Cycle Food Court with healthy food options
  • Strider® Adventure Zone – balance bikes for children on a unique and fun course
Lincoln’s Inn Fields
  • CLIF Bar Digiwall – a climbing wall that interacts with the climber using sound and light
  • Picnic zone, classical music live on the bandstand
  • Outdoor games
  • Café
Southbank
  • BMX Stunt Show – an unbelievable showcase of skill, balance and aerial style
  • Puncture Kit – the drumming cyclist
  • Rollapaluza races – race your family and friends on a static race bike
Aldwych
  • Cycle Cinema – pedal-powered screenings for cinema fans
  • Flat Land Street Cycle with pro riders demonstrating spins, balance and technical tricks
  • Cycle-themed face painting for the children
  • Rollapaluza races – race your family and friends on a static race bike
  • King's College coffee shop
St Paul’s Churchyard
  • Paternoster Square – a brand new area hosting a food market, big screen and the ‘Wheel Love’ date bikes
  • Jump box ramp stunt show
  • Bike polo with matches by pros and polo try-outs for spectators by the London Hardcourt Bike Polo Association

Guildhall
  • Extreme Unicyclists – the world’s only stunt unicycle team will amaze you with their stunts and tricks

  • Pedal-powered juice bar – pedal to produce your own tasty smoothie
  • Pedal-powered sound – DJs entertain with some pedal-powered sounds and beats

  • Transformed into the London Bike Market: Makers Market showcasing the makers and craftspeople working in cycling today

Each Festival Zone will have cycle parking for participants to leave their bikes while they enjoy the free entertainment on offer.

Additional elements as standard at each site include hydration stations, event medical, bike mechanic and information point.
