Aim to arrive early to make the most of the quiet traffic-free streets. If you’re planning to ride with a young family, avoid the afternoon as the route will be at its busiest between 12:00 and 14:00 and will reopen to traffic at 16:00. Aim to cycle the route in the morning and you’ll be able to take your time and take in the sights.
