Over the weekend of 29-30 July 2017, nearly 2,000 volunteers joined the Prudential RideLondon team and were crucial to the success of the world’s biggest festival of cycling.
From the FreeCycle volunteers across central London on Saturday, to the start volunteers on site at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 4.30am on Sunday; from Wayfinders in Weybridge to Yellow Flag wavers in Wimbledon; and from pedestrian crossing point marshals in Putney to medal distributors on The Mall; everyone came together as a team to make the event happen. The energy, enthusiasm and professionalism of the Veloteer team was a pleasure for all to see and we want say a massive thank you to each and every person who took part.
We’d love to see as many of our 2017 Veloteers back for 2018 as possible, and recruit new Veloteers for these exciting roles across London and Surrey.
Further details on how to join the 2018 Veloteer team will appear here in due course.
